Fair Housing Workshops
By Bekki Fox
The City of Rome and the Northwest GA Housing Authority are working to identify patterns of segregation; racially and ethnically concentrated areas of poverty; disparities in access to opportunity; and disproportionate housing needs as part of an Assessment of Fair Housing.
Two public meetings (or workshops) are scheduled on November 13 and 14 at 5:30 PM . Please plan to attend one of the community workshops for a discussion of these important issues. Your input will inform and help shape fair housing in the city for years to come. The discussion will be moderated and lead by the Mosaic Community Planning staff.
- Monday, Nov. 13: 5:30 PM, Willingham at Division Gymnasium, 560 N. Division St
- Tuesday, Nov 14: 5:30 PM, Sam King Room, Rome City Hall, 601 Broad St.
