The Floyd County Board of Elections and Registration consists of three members appointed by the Floyd County Board of Commissioners. The Chairperson of the Board is appointed by the governing authority of the county. The Board has responsibility for the oversight of the Department of Elections and Registration within Floyd County.
The Floyd County Board of Elections and Voter Registration members are appointed by the Floyd County Board of Commissioners with staggered four year terms. Current terms of office are:
Dr. Tom Rees – Term expires December 31, 2020
Dr. Melanie Conrad – Term expires December 31, 2023
John Scott Husser - Term expires December 31, 2023
Board Meetings
The Board of Elections and Registration regular meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 12 noon in the Floyd County Administrative Building, Suite 207, located on the Second floor. In the event of a holiday or scheduling conflict, such as prior to an election, meetings are to be re-scheduled.
